Two Indians Killed in Bus Crash in Bhotebahal

Mar 21, Kathmandu - Two Indian nationals have died after being hit by a bus in Bhotebahal, Kathmandu. Indian nationals Padam Upadhyay, 45, and Satish Kumar Kushwaha, 37, died after being hit by an Om Janata Yatayat coming from Kalimati to Tripureshwor in Bhotebahal, Kathmandu Metropolitan City 12, informed Naresh Raj Subedi, spokesperson of the Valley Traffic Police Office and Superintendent of Police.

They were seriously injured after being hit by a bus (Bagmati Province 3-01-005 Kha 9298) and died at the National Trauma Center last night during treatment, Superintendent of Police Subedi said. The bus driver, Man Bahadur Basnet, 35, a native of Dolakha and resident of Kapan, has been arrested by the police.

Spokesperson Subedi said that the Kalimati Police Circle is investigating the incident.
