Israeli Ambassador Lays Foundation Stone of Memorial Park at Sudurpaschim University

Mar 16, Kathmandu - Israeli Ambassador to Nepal Shmulik Arie Bass has laid the foundation stone of a memorial park being built at Sudurpaschim University.

He laid the foundation stone of a park to be built in Tikapur Sudurpaschim in memory of 11 Nepalese killed in a Hamas attack. On October 7, 2023, 11 Nepali students lost their lives when Hamas attacked Israel.

The park is being built to commemorate the students who lost their lives to expand civil-level relations between Nepal and Israel.

During his visit to Sudurpaschim, the Israeli ambassador also met with local government and people's representatives. The Israeli embassy stated that during the meeting, cooperation in local development was discussed.
