PM Karki Inspects Service Delivery of Kathmandu Administration

Mar 16, Kathmandu - Prime Minister Sushila Karki has inspected the public announcement system of the Kathmandu District Administration Office.

After reaching the office in Babarmahal, Prime Minister Karki inspected the overall system and office management, including the service delivery model 'PAS', which has been launched to promote good governance.

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal and other prominent officials participated in the inspection. The office has stated that it has started a new service model including a public address/announcement system to make service delivery more systematic, transparent and people-friendly.

During the observation and inspection of the system, Chief District Officer Ishwor Raj Poudel informed that Prime Minister Karki was requested to expand the system to other government bodies.

He said that in the three months since the system was implemented, there have been no complaints from service recipients and service recipient satisfaction has increased. Citing problems with the central database server related to citizenship and national identity cards, Chief District Officer Poudel said that coordination has been made with the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Arrangements have been made to automatically broadcast a voice message before the office starts service at 9:45 am.
