Balen visits Rabi Lamichhane as he fell Unwell

Mar 13, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress leader and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has fallen unwell, reportedly due to election-related stress. His Chief Personal Secretary, Avinash Acharya, informed that Lamichhane is currently resting at home.

Lamichhane has been experiencing fever for several days. Medical tests revealed an infection in his urine, and although he is on regular medication, his fever persists. Doctors have advised him to rest for another one or two days.

Yesterday, senior leader and prospective Prime Minister Balendra Shah visited Lamichhane at his residence. This was their first meeting after the election results. According to Acharya, the two leaders held a one-on-one discussion during the visit.

The party now needs to finalize its proportional representation candidates by tomorrow. Additionally, preparations for the new cabinet under Balendra Shah are underway. Sources indicate that Lamichhane and Shah discussed these matters in a casual conversation.
