Students Protest in Kathmandu Demanding Justice for Inisha BK

Mar 13, Kathmandu - Students from Padmakanya Multiple Campus's Independent Student Union organized a protest in Kathmandu, calling for a thorough investigation and strict punishment for those responsible for the murder of Inisha BK.

The demonstration stretched from Bagbazar to Maitighar in Kathmandu, with students holding banners and chanting slogans such as "Justice for Inisha BK," "Hang the Rapist," "Protect Women," and "Ensure Fair Investigation."

Participants covered their faces with black cloth and declared that they would continue protesting until the victim’s family receives justice. They demanded that the perpetrators be punished severely and emphasized the need for safety and justice for all women.

Inisha BK was found dead in a community forest in Birendranagar, Surkhet. The post-mortem report revealed that she died due to excessive bleeding following a sexual assault. Authorities are actively investigating the case.
