Mar 09, Kathmandu - The Film Development Board is officially participating on behalf of Nepal in the 79th Cannes Film Festival to be held in Cannes, France. The film festival is being held from May 12 to 23 with the aim of promoting Nepal's film sector, international cooperation, and providing global access to Nepali films and filmmakers.

On this occasion, a Nepali stall (booth) will also be set up in collaboration with the Film Development Board and the Nepal Tourism Board.

The board has stated that Nepali filmmakers participating in the festival individually can share the board's stall (booth) and display and promote their films, posters, trailers, and other promotional materials to international audiences, distributors, and collaborators.

Interested filmmakers have been requested to coordinate with the board.
