New Nepali Film ‘Paral Ko Aago’ Unveils Second Poster on International Women's Day

Mar 08, Kathmandu - The second poster of the upcoming Nepali film ‘Paral Ko Aago’ has been released, coinciding with International Women’s Day. The production team dedicated the poster to all women, highlighting the film’s focus on women’s stories and societal themes.

The newly unveiled poster has heightened anticipation among audiences. It features a poignant image of Suhana Thapa seated in a boat amidst a sun-kissed fields, her expressive face capturing deep emotion and serenity. Her soulful expression appears to tell a story of inner strength, struggle, and grace.

Set against a rural backdrop, the poster showcases traditional baskets and Himalayan scenery, reflecting Nepal’s rustic charm. The warm natural lighting and soft color palette add visual appeal, symbolizing the emotional depth, resilience, and beauty of women—factors central to the film’s narrative.

The film’s teaser is scheduled to be released on Monday at 11:25 AM.

‘Paralko Aago’ explores rural life, family relationships, and the psychological and emotional struggles hidden within society. The film features prominent actors Suhana Thapa, Saugat Malla, and Prakash Saput in lead roles.

Directed by Laxman Sunar, the film also stars Shrijana Adhikari, Kishore Bhandari, Jack Shrestha, Sarita Bhandari, Renu Nemwang, and child artist Manjila Baniya. Produced under Hari OM Cine Makers Pvt. Ltd., the screenplay is by Sushil Devkota, with cinematography by Sankalpa Bhujel. Ramji Lamichhane is responsible for choreography, and Milan Shrestha handled editing. Color grading was done by Kanal Kanwar, with VFX by Samir Mia and Satyam Rana. Sahil Khan managed teaser and trailer editing, while Mukesh Shah took care of sound mixing. Nagendra Ghimire oversaw production coordination.

Music plays a vital role in the film, with Kiran Tuladhar composing the soundtrack, complemented by contributions from Shanti Thatal, Satya–Swarup, and Prakash Saput. The lyrics are penned by Man Bahadur Mukhiya, Surendra Rana, and Prakash Saput.

Art direction was led by Pratik Chaudhary, with Karan Bahadur Saud as assistant director. Producers Sulbhi Pokhrel and Satyam Pokhrel brought the project to life. Distribution rights are held by R R Films, while OSR Digital has secured the digital rights.
