Mar 06, Kathmandu - Congress candidate Tek Bahadur Gurung has been declared the winner of the Member of the House of Representatives seat from Manang. The final results announced on Friday evening by Chief District Officer Navaraj Poudel confirm Gurung’s victory.

Gurung secured 2,414 votes, while his closest rival, NCP candidate Yasodha Gurung (Subedi), received 454 votes.

The official announcement by the Election Office is still pending. This marks the second victory for the Congress in the region. The party also won in Mustang.
