Mar 06, Kathmandu - Sobita Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has secured a commanding lead in the election race, maintaining a significant margin over her rivals.
According to the latest figures up to 2:30 PM today, Gautam has garnered 9,876 votes, holding her lead comfortably. Her nearest competitor, Nepali Congress candidate Renu Dahal, trails with 5,254 votes. Gautam is ahead by a substantial margin of 4,622 votes, reinforcing her strong position in the race.
The vote among young voters and urban areas appears to be one-sided in favor of Sobita. This lead by Gautam, who is considered a 'change agent', has put established parties on the defensive.
