Release Date of Film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ Delayed Amid Middle East Tensions

Mar 04, Kathmandu - In a recent update, the release of the acclaimed film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been postponed due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East. Originally scheduled to premiere on Chaitra 5, the film’s release has now been rescheduled for Jestha 21, with worldwide screenings set to begin simultaneously.

The producers announced the change in a statement on Wednesday, citing the recent joint attack by the United States and Israel on Iran, which has escalated conflicts across the Middle East. The volatile situation in the region is believed to potentially impact the film’s commercial performance, especially in the Middle Eastern market, a vital area for Indian cinema.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film features a star-studded cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.
