Feb 27, Kathmandu - A jeep accident in Gorkha has killed a driver and injured another. On Friday, around 12 noon, a Bolero jeep carrying goods from Kalika Hydropower overturned in the middle of the road, killing the driver, Jai Bahadur Tamang, 41, a resident of Talekhu, Bidur Municipality-6, according to the District Police Office, Gorkha.

He was crushed by the same jeep and died on the spot, informed Deputy Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Shrestha. The accident took place at Kachchi Khadak in Tarakhola, Ajirkot Rural Municipality-1. A police team reached the accident site and secured the spot, and further investigation is underway, said Shrestha.
