Feb 23, Kathmandu - The Ministry of Home Affairs has established a task force to investigate the bus accident that occurred after falling into the Trishuli River at Benighat, Dading, on Monday morning.
Following a meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs, chaired by Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, it was decided to form a five-member committee under the coordination of the Ministry's Joint Secretary. The meeting was attended by the Home Secretary, Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, top security officials, Director General of the Transport Department, Director General of the Road Department, representatives of transport operators, and workers' unions.
The newly formed task force is tasked with investigating the incident and submitting a detailed report. Ministry spokesperson Anand Kafle stated that the committee's primary responsibility is to uncover the causes of the accident and recommend necessary actions.
