Central Security Committee Meeting Underway at Home Ministry to Address Key National Challenges

Feb 21, Kathmandu - A crucial meeting of the Central Security Committee is currently ongoing at the Ministry of Home Affairs. The session focuses on pressing contemporary issues facing the nation, including peace and security and upcoming elections.

The ministry has stated that particular emphasis is being placed on security challenges in the Madhesh-Terai region, particularly those related to ethnic, religious, and election concerns. Discussions are underway to evaluate the situation and make necessary decisions.

The meeting is being chaired by Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, who also serves as the Chair of the Central Security Committee. Senior officials from all four security agencies are participating in the discussions.
