Feb 17, Kathmandu - The National Examination Board, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Sanothimi, has released the timetable for the Class 12 annual examinations.
According to the board's decision, the 2083 annual exams will commence on Baisakh 18 and continue until Baisakh 27.
As per the public notice, regular and partial (registration numbers starting with 79, 80, 81, and 82) examinees from general, technical, and traditional streams will take their exams from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
Key Examination Dates:
- May 28: Compulsory English (for regular students)
- May 29: Compulsory Nepali (or optional English for foreign students opting for English)
- May 30: Partial English and Social Studies (for technical streams)
Subsequent days will feature exams in Physics, Accountancy, Chemistry, Biology, and Economics, among others.
The board has instructed students to arrive at examination centers at least 30 minutes before the exam begins. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late after the start time will not be allowed to participate.
Electronic devices such as mobile phones and smartwatches are strictly prohibited during exams.
Biology examinees will use a single answer booklet for Botany and Zoology.
Students are advised to inform the board within 15 days if they have multiple exams scheduled on the same day.
The board clarified that no re-examinations will be conducted for students absent from the scheduled exams.
