CPN-UML Launches 30-Point Appeal Urging Support for KP Sharma Oli’s Victory

Feb 14, Kathmandu - The CPN-UML has publicly issued a 30-point appeal, calling on voters to support party leader KP Sharma Oli in the upcoming elections.

The appeal, published by the UML’s Jhapa-5 regional committee under the headline "Why Vote for KP Sharma Oli?", emphasizes the importance of Oli’s victory for the nation’s stability and development.

The document highlights that Oli’s win is crucial to uplift the declining morale of the country and to safeguard national sovereignty. It appeals to voters to end the prevailing atmosphere of fear and to ensure peace and security for all Nepalese citizens.

“Voting for Oli is essential to complete unfinished development projects initiated in Jhapa-5,” the appeal states. It further stresses that Oli’s leadership is necessary to revitalize the sluggish economy, develop the agricultural sector, and achieve food self-sufficiency.

The appeal also emphasizes the importance of providing technical education to youth, promoting skill-based development, and increasing self-employment opportunities. It urges voters to support Oli to complete ongoing infrastructure projects such as the Asian Highway, Mid-Hill Highway, Madan Bhandari Highway, and postal roads.

Furthermore, the document advocates for the completion of the Nepal-China Friendship Industrial Park and the modernization of Damak, Gauradaha, and Gauriganj markets into smart cities. It also calls for support to address issues faced by landless, Dalit, squatters, and informal settlers.

The UML’s appeal underscores that Oli’s leadership is vital for Nepal’s progress and development across multiple sectors.
