Feb 10, Kathmandu - In an exciting development in the Prime Minister Cup cricket Kathmandu qualifiers, Mahabir Studies and the Cricket Excellence Center (CEC) have secured their spots in the title clash. The finalists were decided following CEC's victory over Himalayan Cricket Academy in Tuesday's Super Six match.
CEC successfully chased down a target of 184 runs, scoring 77 all out in 35.5 overs. Earlier, batting first, CEC posted a competitive total of 183 runs in 49 overs, thanks to Rit Gautam’s third consecutive century.
Himalayan Cricket Academy was bowled out early, falling short at 77 runs in 35.5 overs while chasing the target. Before this, Mahabir had defeated both Great Himalayan Academy and Baluwatar Cricket Club in their respective Super Six group matches.
The upcoming final promises an exciting showdown between Mahavir Studies and CEC for the coveted Kathmandu cricket title.
