National Assembly Passes Tourism Bill 2081 to Boost Sector's Growth

Feb 09, Kathmandu - The National Assembly has unanimously approved the Tourism Bill 2081. During today’s session, Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Anil Kumar Sinha proposed the bill, emphasizing its role in diversifying and promoting tourism in the country.

The bill aims to enhance the tourism sector's growth and sustainability through various reforms and initiatives.

In addition, the Assembly paid tribute to former member Sukra Raj Sonyok, who recently passed away at the age of 90. Sanyok, elected to the National Assembly from the Nepali Congress in 2054 B.S., was remembered for his contributions to the nation.

The next session of the National Assembly is scheduled for February 11th at 1:15 PM.
