Feb 08, Kathmandu - In a historic moment for Nepali cricket, mystery spinner Sher Malla has made his debut in the ICC T20 World Cup, participating in Nepal's senior national team for the first time.
Sher stepped onto the field during Nepal's match against England on Sunday, which is being hosted in India and Sri Lanka, marking a significant milestone for Nepali cricket.
This edition of the T20 World Cup saw 15 players in the Nepali squad, with five making their debut for the first time, including Sher. Alongside him, Arif Sheikh, Lokesh Bhatt, and Nandan Yadav also earned their first caps in the tournament.
In the opening moments of the match, England won the toss and elected to bat first, setting the stage for an exciting contest.
