Feb 06, Kathmandu - Medical practitioner Durga Prasai has been re-arrested by Kathmandu police. The arrest took place on Friday, Magh 23, from Kirtipur, Kathmandu.

According to the Cyber Bureau of Nepal Police, the arrest was made following instructions from the Election Commission. Prasai has a history of being repeatedly detained and released over various allegations.

When asked about the next steps regarding legal action against him, Prasai mentioned that authorities are currently reviewing and preparing their course of action.
