Nov 04, Kathmandu - Industrialists are set to accept the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry's middle-ground proposal to resolve the dedicated trunk line dispute.
At a press conference at the federation on Tuesday, the victimized and harassed industry group said it was ready to accept the middle-of-the-road proposal.
Industrialists have expressed gratitude for the high-level discussions involving the Prime Minister, high-ranking government officials, and the Chairman of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, which resulted in a compromise proposal on the dispute over dedicated feeder and tankline fees, and for taking the initiative to save the country from a serious economic crisis through timely discussions and negotiations.
They have announced that they will deposit the amount, but have stated that there is no evidence that they have accepted the authority's claim.
