Documentary Film About Kabita Nepali's Everest-Lhotse Climb Released

Oct 28, Kathmandu - Nepali actress, dancer, mountaineer, and TV show judge Kabita Nepali made headlines by summiting Mount Everest and Lhotse, two of the world's highest peaks over 8,000 meters, within just 24 hours in the first week of Jestha.

Completing her ascent of Everest and then Lhotse within a single day showcased her extraordinary courage and determination, earning widespread admiration from fans and mountaineering enthusiasts alike.

Responding to public requests, Kabita Nepali has released a documentary capturing her daring climbs on her YouTube channel. The film features footage from her departure from Kathmandu, her ascent on the mountains, and her return to Kathmandu, beautifully shot by adventure photographer Bidhwan Shrestha.

The one-hour documentary, crafted in a conversational style, offers viewers an intimate glimpse into her mountain adventure. Kabita shared her thoughts on the film, stating, “This film is my journey to the two highest peaks in the world—all within 24 hours. It’s a story of perseverance, reflection, and growth.”
