By Elections Update: Counting Of Votes In Bajhang Starts From 12 Pm

Apr 27, Kathmandu- The counting of votes for the by-election in Bajhang is going to start from 12 noon.

After the all-party meeting was held at 11 o'clock, preparations were made for counting of votes from 12 o'clock, according to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer. The ballot boxes of three centers of Saipal rural municipality were brought to the headquarters at seven o'clock on Sunday morning. Ballot boxes were transported in two consignments from the helicopter of the Nepalese army.

The counting of votes will take place in the district court building, which also has the office of the chief election officer. The security system of the polling station has also been tightened.

A large number of security personnel have been mobilized around the district court. In the voting held on Saturday, 30,000,328 votes were cast here. 49.12 percent votes were cast in this constituency with a total of 61 thousand 748 voters.
