Nepali National Cricketers Rohit And Dipendra Will Not Play In The Caribbean T10 League

Aug 13, Kathmandu- Nepali national cricket team captain Rohit Kumar Paudel and all-rounder Dipendrasingh Airey will not play Max 60 Caribbean T10 League to be held in West Indies.

Although T 10 made a contract from the draft held last month for selecting players, Rohit and Dipendra did not participate in the league due to visa issues.

"Due to the visa problem, Rohit and Dipendra will not participate in the league," said their Nepali manager Ravi Timilsina, "because the process to go to the West Indies has not been agreed upon, both of them will remain in Canada."

He informed that they will now practice the same for the World Cup League 2 series to be held next month in Canada.

"They are constantly practicing. Until a few days ago, both of them were playing for their teams in the Global T20 League. Now, even after the league is over, they are practicing," said manager Timilsin.

Captain Rohit was signed with Miami Lions and Dipendra was signed with Grand Cayman Stingers for the T-Ten. Soyab Mallik, Doyan Brabo, Ravi Bhopara, Corey Anderson and other players are in Rohit's affiliated Miami.

The Nepali cricket team is in India for training. Nepal will practice for two weeks at the Nationals Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bangalore, India.

Along with Rohit, Dipendra, Sandeep Lamichhane will not be present in the practice in India. Sandeep is also in Canada.
